Yes, another sunset, but I quite like how this one turned out. (also, the trees aren't quite what they seem, but i'll get to that later)

Taken out the back of Geelong, towards Ceres.

D300, 18-200mm. 3 Exposure blending, levels changed too.

Nice image there but I think that some foreground interest would really help to improve it. Sometimes (IMHO) a sunset is a great tool for lighting and showing off something in front of it

Sunsets are never boring when done right. You've aced it with this one. Great colours, nice brooding clouds and the evil eye of the sun peering at us as it winks out really make for a powerful image.

Hehe, the foreground here wasn't very desirable.

A bit more editing reveals the foreground, and now the trees really look!
