Brett - nice set of images here!
The fumes (or heat??)really add to the atmosphere you've captured.
My fave would be the first image, followed by no.4.
What camera/lens were u shooting with for this series?

Awesome stuff.

Is it just me or does anyone else find it a laugh at the guy with the mop's head angle in no 2!! "Where did it go" !

Hehehe yeah TP.
What's above the guy on the right (with the sunnies on) head? Part of the sign?
Having a closer look at this image - I'd like to see it cropped so that the shoulder/arm of the the FAR right hand dude is not seen.

Thanks guys.

First three photos are with the Sigma 120-300 + 1.4TC thanks to a great friend of mine. The last one is with the 70-200 and SB-800.

He's looking at parts of the bonnet that ended up way up high, the bit you can see above the guys head is just one of them. It all happened so fast; it would have been good to go as wide as I could to capture them all in the air, but oh well.

Here is a crop for you.

I quite like this one - I did not realise that garret made more than turbines, I assume this is some form of air inlet / air cycle machine?

Turbocharger. What you see is the compressor housing and compressor impeller. None of the big drag guys run a filter at all on these babies.
