It's been a while since I've posted an image.
This shot was taken as the afternoon sun was setting fast. We were in the car and Bel kindly allowed me to take this shot of her.
The image is a bit 'warm' but I quite like it that way. I'm not sure if I prefer the colour or the B&W. Oh yeah, I asked her not to smile, I wanted a kind of pensive (but not pissed off pose), which I think we achieved.

Hey Geoff,

Its a great shot of Bel and I think the black and white version is superior! It just has more impact.

:agree: I also like the colour one but the white line to the left drags my eye over.

I actually prefer the colour one, I'm drawn to her eyes, and the black and white image while very strong loses out to the colour one with the eyes in this case.

A nice very natural shot Geoff, although I see a bit of "come on, hurry up" in her look :)

Very nice shot Geoff, I prefer the colour version and the warmish tone is perfect.

Black and white, to me, is the way of showing the darker side of life especially in close form portraits. I therefore much prefer the colour version as it shows the inner warmth of Bel and those eyes are just wonderful, in colour.

love the eye contact. great shot. personally i prefer the BW also.
imo you could chop a bit off the left of the image aswell to get in tighter.
