Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Stars of the seaHere are some more shots from my recent trip. This time sea stars. All shot with a D300 with various lenses.
Sea star, Gomophia egyptiaca, 13.2 metres at Osprey Reef (Tokina 12-24mm with +2 diopter in dome port). Sea star, 25.5 metres at Osprey Reef (Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II +5 diopter in dome port). Sea star, Fromia indica, 17.1 metres at Agincourt Reef (Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II +5 diopter in dome port).

I typically use two strobes, one on each side of the rig, and did in all three photos.

The white tips in the first appear to be over exposed on my monitor, is this the case? I have the same issue regularly with white flowers and mixed backgrounds. Regards Colin Regards Colin

Colin, Perhaps, a tad. I have just applied some recovery and decreased the exposure a bit. Hopefully it is better now.
