Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Matt's post here of a great Citroen reminded me of a shot I took earlier today when a visitor came round in this. I was blown away by the beautiful blue colour and so took a few snaps. The car was freshly washed (note the tyre black) so looked great, I was peeved after looking at the shots on the monitor I hadn't taken more time to get a better shot. The car in real life was the colour of the rear, should have put a polarising filter on  Must remember to put brain in gear before pressing shutter in future

Andrew I think he just liked the band so much he plasters the name all over his car. You should see his bedroom walls!

You are right Glen, it doesn't do the colour justice. In the light this colour is outstanding in its depth and beauty. But in the shade / night it is not the most attractive of colours :) When I bought my latest car there was one this colour sitting next to the one we ended up picking in the showroom as well as one outside in the sunlight, there was no comparison between the two, you'd be pressed to say they were the same colour!

I saw one of these the other day, but in a bright green. Honestly, it looked as if it had just come off the track from a V8 Supercars meet, such was the colour.

Glen, you need to clone in a No Standing sign and then give a copy to the driver. :)

Reuter’s Flash

We have today learned of the devilish scheme by a purveyor of torches to the Police. Investigations have shown that a person going by the name of Glen (aka Glenmoola ben Achmed) has been selling torches with an embedded matrix chip that relays vital information to parties in opposition to blue police cars. It is thought that it is a splinter group of women known as the “Pinkies”.

Beautiful blue

Brett and Gary, you are spot on about the blue, it did look like a V8 supercar. Gary there is actually a "no standing" sign right across the road from my house, that is where these cars normally park or hidden out the back, this is one of the few who didn't park in the no standing. Chris if only it there were girls driving round in pink cars, I spend more time with guys than girls
