Almost a keeper?

Just not getting enough time for photos lately :( ran out last Friday to get a few shots of the spring bloom. After some feedback on this, feels like the focus is ok, the dof is OK, nice bokeh on background. But still not happy. Is it composition thats wrong? Maybe rule of thirds or needs a crop. Anyhow would love some feedback.

D80, Tamron 90mm, 1/160, f/8.0, ISO100

Thanks, was really struggling with composition. Too be honest I think I was hurrying it. Need to remember to slow down. It was the end of a long week at work and I just wanted to get some shots.

Yeah I lurv the bokeh, the Tamron 90mm is bokeh bonanza.

Colour - Good
Focus - Good
Bokeh - Good

Composition is missing something. Try a closer crop. It may have been better with 'something' indistinct in the background. (more blooms of the same plant, or contrasting shapes...)
