Female red deer in bracken

I went out to see if I could capture some deer rutting today but all I got was lots of roaring and no action. The good light lasted all of five minutes and during that time all I came across was this female in amongst the bracken. Not the type of crop I'd usually go for but there were some distractions above her head so I went for a pano crop. Shame about the ear but never mind lol

great sharp image. i love the crop and the expression of the deer. i also really like he postiion of her peeking over the brush. i dont mind the ear bent cos its got that "flee at any second" look. tjhere is something thats not quite right. i dont know what it is though. maybe the bokeh is a little busy or the colours a little too similar to the deer, dunno.
