Like the contrasting colours.. What is that in the foreground? I may be tempted to smooth out the waves on the sand for a more national geographic type of look :)

Very nice.

I wonder how this might have looked from a slightly lower angle, with less of the trailing dunes, and a bit more sky in their place?

gstark - I think that lower angle will be destroy this balance o the image.
Anyway - to repeat this photo I have to again find another weekend to drive 700km in one way ;)

the photo is spectacular - the swirls of the clouds makes it for me - and the rich intense blue - can i ask where is it taken?

mozzie - dunes are close to Mildura (Wenworth).

Awesome photo, this one would look great enlarged, and I mean BIG. Was the "fruit" there by itself or did you arrange it for the shot? (Not that it matters.)
