This shot was taken during our D70's first outing, the day started off sunny but went to grey, dull, and overcast, so we went looking for subjects that might suit, and found this, Nikon D70 and Sigma 15-30
lens, i really love this lens and have been using it for over two years now,
i have found it very sharp and fantastic in low light,it cannot take filters
except for gelatin type's at the rear (base) but it doesn;t seem to suffer
from uv. etc, i will post some shots soon of a shoot i did at the Hot Rod
show in Melbourne where i believe it performed very well.

Nikon boy - this is the kind of pic I really like - the power of communication indicated by a powerful angle. I have the Sigma 12-24mm and would love to see this same shot at 12mm

Yes, it is a great lens, how are you doing with the Sigma 12-24 ?
and are you aware Sigma have just released a 10-22 2.8 that takes 77mm filters, will be investigating getting one of these!!

I actually have the 12-24 on the camera more than any other lens. I am aware of the 10-22 but I have a feeling that it will be quite expensive. 8)
