Here are my almost-too-late entries, also very rushed so not as good as I would have liked! There is a fair bit of noise as I forgot to change some settings and did not realise until I had loaded them up

Theme 1 - Reflections

Theme 2 - Emotion

....... mixed emotions

Theme 3 - Kitchen Utensil

humble potato masher

Theme 4 - Animal

Thought I had better not reuse my previous animal entry!

Thanks for looking :)

#1 Reflection? then why can I read the writing? Did you flip it in PP, or did you use two mirrors? If the latter you disguised it well.
#2 A great take on a difficult topic. Wish I had thought of it. Perhaps the framing is not quite there
#3 You did these in a hurry? Makes me sit up & take notice of a "humble" object. Well done. Mind you I use a fork
#4 Let down by the blurriness of the head. Not sure if the problem is OOF, movement or your high ISO.

Your previous entry wouldn't have qualified as it wasn't taken in the period.

Thanks for joining in. The more the merrier. For a while there I was afraid, Big Red and I would tie for first place in all categories

Damn! I knew I should have waited until the bottle was empty to photograph it.
I will rectify that situation at once.

So Louie, I repeat my question.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! My masher has never had so much positive attention before!

#1 The image was flipped in photoshop - it looked better flipped to me (and maybe now it is the POV of the mirror??). I did try to use two mirrors to do some reflections of reflections but I just could not get it to work.

#2 Thanks again. I tried many crops but having the whole 'mixing bowl' and spoon looked a bit silly and cropping them out entirely did not make sense so I ended up with what I posted (the shadow)

#4 .... or all of the above and then some! I have tried many times to get his head in focus but am yet to succeed. I will keep trying :)

It would have if I took a photo of the same thing again  :P

Cheers and thanks again to both Mr Darcy and Big Red for organising these mini-challenges!
