First Image for review/commentHi Guys,
Finally got around to going through the piles of shots i've taken since i got my camera. Havent got photoshop but i do have access to lightroom so i made a few changes but being so new to this whole thing, im a sponge for suggestions. The shot is from early in the morning last weekend. Also trying to get the hang of resizing, uploading etc so apologies for any issues there. jase D90 + 18-55VR + 55-200VR
Re: First Image for review/commentI like the colours and composition. The only niggle would be the tope left cactus (OOF) and bottom left white bit..
Re: First Image for review/comment good work, just crop a little off the LHS.

Re: First Image for review/commentJase
I like this one. Interesting geometric shapes and nice and sharp. That said I wonder if it's just a tad too cyan (I've never seen a cactus that blue). I also think a removing a little of the image on the left may be worth examining. Overall though this is definitely a keeper. Peter

Re: First Image for review/comment
I would go as far as a square crop on this one. I'm surprised Gary hasn't suggested this already __________

Re: First Image for review/comment
I'm not convinced that this needs to be cropped, either square or from the left. But that's just me g.

Re: First Image for review/commentThanks for all the feedback guys. Im going to have more of a play around with it to see what the end result looks like with some adjustments to crop and tones etc.
In regards to the colour, just nipped outside for a look and the cactus does have a little bit of dark green/blue towards the tips but i think it was the morning light and my lack of ability with post processing that has accentuated it to that point. Might shoot it again tomorrow morning with some different WB settings to warm it up a little. Ill get there eventually. D90 + 18-55VR + 55-200VR
Re: First Image for review/commentbrilliant colors, I'd love to see it printed large!
