I am so envious of those with the D700! My new toy is the 80 - 400 Nikon VR
Here are some pics I particularly like. I'm interested in which of the honeyeater pics is better and why. Look forward to some feedback.

Hi,
honeyeater #1 for me - just like the angle of the head more as the eye contact draws me more into the picture

I can only see one bird photo, the first one - so I guess that's the best one.

Here in WA we call birds that look like that a Red Wattlebird.
