Hi guys,
Went to Taronga zoo again today and fired off about 200 shots. These are two of my favourites.
Comments welcome

Great shots, love the 2nd one. The first could do with a bit of fill flash. Probably would of been quite hard given the size of the animal and maybe the distance away from you.[

Matt,
I like these portraits too! Especially the zebra. With it's head cocked to the side like that I keep imagining it puzzling over what all those humans on the other side of the fence are doing particularly the one with the camera.
Cheers,
Gordon.

Zebra works well. (had me wondering what animals were in Surry Hills after the Mardi Gras, your post heading made me think more of the country guys, then saw it was you Matt) Not as big a fan of the giraffe due to the cropped eye.

I'm starting to feel like a real contrarian.
The giraffe works nicely for me, the zebra not at all. Go figure, huh?

Thanks for the comments guys.
See I really like the giraffe, I like the way his other eye is off camera. Makes him look introspective and thoughtful.
Could do with some fill in flash I agree but I was quite a long way from him.
Cheers chaps
