Port Jackson sharks, Heterodontus portusjacksoni, off North Head on Sunday. Actually, it may only be the one photographed 4 times. There were two there and I photographed one of them in one session and one in another.

Thanks.

I forgot to mention: Nikon D300, Tokina 12-24mm, +4 diopter, Ikelite housing, dome port, 2 x DS125 strobes. All shot at 12mm.

Andrew,

Nice PJ shots. I had a lot of fun a couple of years ago diving with some of these guys at Jervis Bay. Also have some shots of egg casings floating around somewhere, wouldnt want to be a female PJ.

I notice some scatter in the last two. Is this from the strobes or in post? I have some cave diving shots that came up this way when I adjusted the exposure in post.

Ant.

It is from the strobes hitting the particulate matter in the water. There was a lot around plus some other divers who weren't being very careful. :(

Great shots Andrew

I particularly like the second shark in the last pic looking at what's going on:

Envy - It hangs out in the shadows
