Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Thanks mate. Using the kit lens, mostly at 18mm. No filters but I did bracket (all shot in RAW - 170+ photos) and merge in photoshop. It was overcast but as the sun was setting the sky cleared up and the light was beautiful.

Thanks for checking them out :)

Cheers,
Owen.

I like this one - very good. Other ones are good as well but that one is my favorite :)

Thanks Hlop, although it's not well defined in that pic I think it kinda leads the eye with the rocks and then the clouds.

Thanks for commenting.

Owen - #3087 does it for me - fascinated by the bench :D

They are all excellent shots from a composition point

owen, outstanding stuff. I love the fact that you are taking landscapes in "portrait/vertical" orientation. Number 1 (3136) is my favourite, but I like them all. Really good work.

Thanks Chris and Greg. I really appreciate the comments. These were taken after a landscape photography workshop, so I guess the lesson worked well :)

I'll say it worked well. Those are terrific shots. On the bench one, I wonder what it would look like with more foreground and less sky? Not a critique, just curious.

Looks like you got the right knowledge and light and landscape for a winning combo. Great pics.

Hey Dooda. I'll have a look amongst the collection when I get home, there could be one that has more foreground and less sky as I took many shots of the same scene.

Thanks for the comment.

Owen. They're all pretty impressive, but the trailing clouds really make the shots they're in. Plus I'm ashamed to say, I've never thought of doing landscapes portrait
