Excellent exposure.. Did you use any filters? (Grad ND?)

Or was the light "Just right"

Did you shoot raw? What Glass?

Thanks mate. Using the kit lens, mostly at 18mm. No filters but I did bracket (all shot in RAW - 170+ photos) and merge in photoshop. It was overcast but as the sun was setting the sky cleared up and the light was beautiful.

owen, outstanding stuff. I love the fact that you are taking landscapes in "portrait/vertical" orientation. Number 1 (3136) is my favourite, but I like them all. Really good work.

I'll say it worked well. Those are terrific shots. On the bench one, I wonder what it would look like with more foreground and less sky? Not a critique, just curious.

Hey Dooda. I'll have a look amongst the collection when I get home, there could be one that has more foreground and less sky as I took many shots of the same scene.

Owen. They're all pretty impressive, but the trailing clouds really make the shots they're in. Plus I'm ashamed to say, I've never thought of doing landscapes portrait

I would have to agree with sirhc55 3087 is the pick of them for me as well brilliant.
