Another from my day out yesterday....... I like the rural look of this image ..... I had packed my gear up and ready to go when this chap turned up so, D700, Bigma @ 500mm 1250@ f8, ISO 1250, & hand held....

Nice work, I dont go birding often enough to justify a BIGMA but this lens never ceases to surprise me with the results.

Excellent Bernie. Great sharpness on the bird showing the texture of the feathers. Both the background and perch are great, too.

Great stuff! I don't think I can lift a Bigma let alone produce something like this!
