Red bull air-race 2008The RBAR 2008 is back in Perth and the pilots were going about their training run- it was a new course with tighter turns and some pylons were broken (sadly not captured). Race day will be on Sat, Sun

Re: Red bull air-race 2008Great photos, really does expose the difficulty of the course and the tightness of the turns.
Really love the accurate focus and the composition, you have really frozen the dynamic nature to the subject. Cameron

Re: Red bull air-race 2008love how the planes are all perfectly focussed, they really pop out well. #3 is the winner for me cos it has the least distracting background.

Re: Red bull air-race 2008Glad you liked the photos, the course is certainly challenging with some pylons being hit as evidenced by http://www.flickr.com/photos/13394465@N04/2988837442/
it was a challenge (FOV of 1200mm) but fun taking them too =) The background can be distracting, will have to try some panning shots Devine, more shots are up at http://www.flickr.com/photos/13394465@N04/ cheers, Ken
