Interesting. I was looking as a guest & couldn't see them. I logged in so I could say so, and now they are there.

Nice shots BTW (if you like fake minis :P )

Still can't get to yor images off site. Error message:
You don't have permission to access /photos/mini_081017 on this server.

I suspect you can see them because they are YOUR images. We can't.

Hmmm that's odd. I'll look into this, I'm not logged into my web host so it shouldn't matter - will find out if hotlinking has been disabled or not.

lookslike you have to add /index.html to the end of that URL and it'll work.

Images aren't working.

If you add the trailing slash, the gallery works in firefox: http://www.tangcla.com/photos/mini_081017/

No idea whats up with the embedded images, but probably a typo...

Looks like webhost has just upgraded its servers - the cpanel is different.

In doing so it looks like they've tampered with my .htaccess file. :(

Will need to fix this when I get home. grrr!

Can't possibly be a typo - it worked from another forum.

If anyone's interested:

Well it wasnt your .htaccess :)

We recently upgraded from apache 1.3 to 2.0, there in lies the problem, there was a security rule:

[Thu Nov 06 22:46:36 2008] [error] [client 122.104.241.228] ModSecurity: Access denied with code 403 (phase 2). Matched phrase "slrusers.com/" at REQUEST_HEADERS:Referer. [file "/opt/mod_security/10_asl_antimalware.conf"] [line "57"] [id "360004"] [rev "2"] [msg "Suspicious Blacklist Malware Site in Referral"] [severity "CRITICAL"] [hostname "www.tangcla.com"] [uri "/photos/eurotrash_081025/images/IMG_7835.jpg"] [unique_id "SRPILEo0PJIAACVw7UoAAABF"]

This was causing the problem, after i whitelisted your domain, pictures were loading.

er, no ....

there was a security rule:

They matched a partial phrase and presumed it to be a full one.

That actually comes under the heading of "human error"; the presumption was incorrect.

*shrug* don't shoot the messenger

I've asked whether it's possible to get all sites added to whitelist.

I'm not criticising you in any way. Your host's support team is making excuses for their mistakes. They're wrong, and I'm merely pointing this out.

great images!

what did u use with the flash to get a large enough light source? if u dont mind sharing that is...

i've thought of using a large piece of transparent material or something and firing multiple flashes through it, but what you have done works a treat!

I used a LED lamp through a double-diffused softbox.

Which should never be confused with a long walk around the car exposing one's self. :)

That would be a very interesting addition to these already brilliant photos! :D Maybe that should be done in collaboration with one of Dan's models?

EXIF is intact in the pics. It's anywhere between 20-80s, depending on the amount of exposure surfaces.
