Hey guys, on sunday I did a model/fashion shoot for a friend, It was the first time ever using my strobist stuff outside the house and i am rather pleased, there is obviously work to be done including getting rim light exposure spot on and refining my posing/directing.

Here are a couple of the results! Click the flickr link for lighting setup description and some other info!

The buildings in the background of #2 are a bit of a shame, and i am going to clone that light pole out of #1

But let me know what you think, and how i could improve!

Hi, I like the 2nd one a lot, the buildings don't bother me at all. The last might be nicer if you could have got the SB800 to rim light your model without hitting the grass. Sometimes I have made a snoot from a few rolled up model release forms and a hair band to reduce spill.

Nice work.

Like the second one the best. What is your lighting set up?

Vintage type of post processing would be more suitable for this set..
