Yes, I would have said yesterday (the day I took the photo) or the day before. I'm sure I saw it in the tadpool only a day or so earlier.

It will be good down here, as well. We already have new
Litoria peronii tadpoles in the tadpool from recent mating.
We have one of those clamshell wading pools which has
Limnodynastes peronii tadpoles in it. (The male was calling from a tub I use to catch rainwater and the next day there were fertilised eggs. As I pump water from tub, I moved the egg mass to the wading pool and now there are hundreds of tadpoles which seem to be doing well.
I frequently hear
Litoria verreauxii calls both from home and while walking the dogs. Their call travels such a long way I have found it difficult to work out where they are.
I frequently hear
L. dentata on one stretch of the afternoon dog walk.
I frequently hear
L. fallax all around Glenbrook lagoon. I wish I had a longer macro lens as I'd go hunting for shots.
After rain, I hear a lot of
Crinia signifera calling from the pools of water that form after the rain and we even get them in the backyard from time to time.
