Black Kite from Japan

I've just finished processing my photos from a recent holiday in Japan. I took the Nikkor 18-200VR lens as I didn't want to carry heavy gear and wanted one lens to do it all. I understand the limits of the lens so I'm not surprised I got a few soft shots. But I also got this shot:

At 200mm and f/5.6 I am surprised by how sharp this is.

Great work. The 18-200mm VR is a great travel lens, and as you have proven, it can take stunning pictures.

Thanks. I'm glad I got the 18-200. The convenience of the zoom is fantastic.
