More fun with the 617, this time from Melbourne's Rialto Observation Deck.

Probably would have been a little better if the Aus-Ireland footy match wasnt on at the G that night, but its a huge dynamic range for slide film. Short of HDR I dont think that you could turn down the glow from the G, and besides its grown on me since i took the shot, and sure makes it a bit different from the 'usual' night city pano.

This shot was part of a weekend of fun with a 617 camera. The rest can be found here.

Camera/Lens: Fuji GX617, 90mm Lens
Film: Fuji T64
Filters: Center ND
Exposure: 40 Sec, f/8, ISO 64

Looks like a scene from a science fiction movie with an atom bomb about to explode...

a very unique view, very nice!

I think the MCG adds strength to a Melbourne city skyline. There is no greater place of worship on earth

Great shot, I like the glow but the light blur (maybe flair?) on the buildings on the left draw me away from the image as a whole.

Looking at the larger link it's not as sharp as i expected- do you think the building was swaying!!
