I like the second picture Shazzm, the Pelican.
You've captured some interesting behaviour there.
The murky green water spoils the duck picture IMO,
and shooting from a lower angle, parallel with the bird if possible would help composition.
Welcome, and I'm sure you'll enjoy your new camera

All three have great focus points, the colour is good (including the green water) and I hope to see more from you and your D60

For a newbie you are doing way better than I would have done! Great work and looking forward to seeing more from you.

The green water is a matter of taste and can be changed very easily in post if you wish so...

yes, i agree that i don't like the green water, but i haven't been able to get my raw files into CS2. I have combed the Adobe site and found lots of info, downloaded camera raw 3.1 and installed it, but it still won't open my raw. so I guess the water will stay green.

thanks for the feedback, the D60 is pretty great to use. I love it. carry it with me everywhere.
