One Sunflower, Two views

We have these growing in the back yard. They are towering over the 6' fences at the back so I took advantage of an overcast sky to capture these images. Not sure which orientation I like the best, but I am leaning towards the landscape

and

As these are in the backyard, I also have an ability to reshoot with any recommendations.

Thanks,
Ant.

My feedback is:

1. Because you can, get rid of the leaf in the foreground.
2. Despite overcast days often providing the best lighting (think large softbox) I would imagine that, for the sunflower, actually having direct sunlight might give it more pop.
3. I would also try to get slightly higher up relative to the flower's height, bearing in mind any background distractions that may then appear.

Cheers
