hey ho all,
I would like some opinion as to what you think works best out of these please.
They are three quite different approaches to the same subjesct so I want to know what appeals to you.

Um... I can't decide.
I initially liked the first one. Then the second one grew on me because of the separation of a few sharp flowers, but I felt you needed more pink flowers to be sharp. Now I think I like the third as you have the separation and both pink and white flowers are sharp.

Colin,
Did you perchance make an image with just one flower in focus?

Gary,
Not for this set no. Bummer huh.
I do now include that into the mix.
I could crop for that at this size but that would be cheating.
Thanks Andrew.

Col
I like the first but with a crop just cutting off the green background at the top
IE remove the top 10mm, then that is the stand out
The second and third to me suffer a bit too much from being side on, like that little more that you see the first one
Cheers
Waz

#2 for me ...
like the higher viewpoint so you see more of the white flowers yellow centre.
also like how the white flowers dominate the pic as they are more in focus and seem separate from the background.

OK the first will get a small crop off the top, thanks for that.
Here is a rework of the third with a single flower. It's still cheating though.
Thanks for that Shane.

The first is way too busy for my tastes. I kile the second for the sense of depth it has. This is lost a little on the third, possibly because of the pano crop. Perhaps a portrait crop might work?

Colin,
I think that this is just so much better.
But why is it cheating? Cropping is a legitimate technique, and many images - even Pulitzer Prize winning images - are cropped before display.

I agree that it is a legitimate tool, don't get me wrong there.
It is just that this is about as large as this could be produced. It would be way, way better if I actually composed for this first time around.

Ok, yes.
Thanx for clarifying.
