I am counting eight images here. 8.
At the top of each page there is a pink highlighted section that requests that no more than four be posted.
That's 4.
Also, I wouldn't be able to count the number of times this has been mentioned before.

Here is my further request to you:

Remove four of these images. If you like, you can link to a gallery where members can see the others. After all, they are nice pix.

If the post count isn't down to 4 by first light tomorrow, I'll be doing it.

I would appreciate your adherence to the forum guidelines in future.

I am really happy you have put up 8 images, they are AWESOME!!! How did you get such sharp, brilliant and beautiful pictures? Have you got any more pics from that day? What lens / camerra were you using? You must be thrilled with these photos!!!!

You were warned. Post count reduced to four.

The issue here is not how good the pix are. In fact, these are very good images.

The issue is adherence to the forum guidelines which are posted on every page when photos are submitted to the forum, and which have been mentioned countless times by Gary and the mods.

Please comply in future.

As noted by Trevor, and as noted at the top of the page, maybe within two images of where you would have been typing your message, the posting of "NO MORE THAN FOUR IMAGES" is what is permitted here.

Please do not encourage others to break our rules. I do not appreciate that.

I know its a site rule and I agree with the fact people should adhere with the admins rules but I recall recently a post containing 21 photos being listed and not a word was said. Im not going to name who it was because I enjoy thier work and would love to see more of it but the rules need to apply to everyone.

To kiwifamily a great series, in particular the tiger shots.

You may be referring to a post in our section "Personal Photographic Journeys". If you look at the introduction for that section, you will notice that it has an emphasis that is slightly different from our normal image critique section. In fact there is this wording included:

...Some of our normal posting rules are suspended within this section. To illustrate you story, for instance, you may post more than the normal 4 or so images...

When photos are being posted for critique, there is an expectation that people will look at them and post critiques, offer suggestions for improvements etc.

Four images in a thread are therefore plenty for that purpose, otherwise the thread becomes unwieldy; not to mention bandwidth issues for both the forum and individual members.

We certainly are not in the business of applying the rules to some members and not others.
