Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

MMM04 - Mr Darcy[EDIT:] Discovered that my hosting site was down (Thanks Paul) so I opened a Flickr account, and moved the images there. Then when I went to change the links here, this site was down. Maybe these images were not meant to be. Still, I think we're there now.
[:ENDEDIT] Hi all, very busy at the moment (still) so my lame duck entry Theme 1: …motor An old Printed circuit motor I have had lying around the house for about 20 years. Theme 2: …white on white I had the light tent set up to photograph some wine. The wine didn't show & I thought Hmm the tent is white, now what do I have lying around that's also white? Theme 3: …pain Theme 4: …Movement My idea was to have a snail trail with the snail at the end of it. Didn't work out. Didn't even nail the focus. Damn those suckers move faster than you realise. Maybe I should have added some motion blur in PP Last edited by Mr Darcy on Fri Dec 19, 2008 10:59 am, edited 1 time in total.

Re: MMM04 - Mr DarcyI was going to cast my votes tonight, but your pics have fallen off the server Greg...
Re: MMM04 - Mr Darcy
I just checked. The site has been suspended by the host. The site is a friend's web site that I look after for him. In return he lets me hide my pics in the background. Maybe he hasn't paid his bill, or maybe I have posted too many pics and gone over the limit. Too tired tonight. I will look into it tomorrow & attempt a work around. Pam is still working as I set up a Flickr account for her last night so that once she gets the hang of things she can be fully independent. I may do the same for me If I don't get it up and running I will withdraw my entry. Greg
