Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Paparazzi R UsThe Ben Cousins circus is in town. Sure enough, I move from Perth to Melbourne and not only does Ben come here a few months later, he comes to my club! Deadset.
He flew into Melbourne on Tuesday night, and I went out there to write a story, and take a few shots. cheers, juice

Who? Seems like the ringmaster could do with a shave, and as a razor, might I respectfully suggest he uses the first image: the sharpening wheel has run amok here, and I'm afraid to handle this one. Look at the haloing around Ben's chin. Otherwise, in terms of the assigned goals for these images, each one is definitely a six-pointer. g.

Re: Paparazzi R UsThanks.
Yes, they're oversharpened. Gotta look at my Flickr upload workflow (mogrify is involved) to see if it's adding some there. Although, I might have done it when I was sending them off to work - still getting used to what the mk3 needs in terms of PP, and I'd started writing at 5am, and I sent them off just before 9pm Still, I was shooting for the web, so it looked fine with he article cheers, juice
