A bit of NBL actionFirst time shooting an NBL match. The lighting in Challenge Stadium is pretty horrible. Shot manual, mostly at 1600, 1/250th, 2.8 - 40D with a Sigma 70-200.
Shawn Redhage, the Perth Wildcats most important player A bit of entertainment... Robbo working hard Getting a bit artsy-fartsy (Full set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mickeyjuic ... 137062783/)
Not being a fan of basketball, I will say however that the entertainment looks like something I would enjoy.
Steve.

And the good bit is, they're the easiest parts of the game to shoot!
I'm not much of a basketball fan either, but it's good practice, and I learned a huge amount.
The action shots or the cheerleaders?
Well, you never know these days Thanks - I learned a LOT there that arvo from my mate, who shoots for Gettys. Mates are very helpful.
Ta. It'd be fair to say that the 40D is a major improvement over the (ancient) 10D, and Lightroom does a great job of processing. (No PS used, just Lightroom.) Shooting manual certainly helped keep things nice and predictable.
Re: A bit of NBL actionI'm not a big fan of NBL, although it looks like a very interesting league
however, with those king of cheerleaders I think I'll start going to games just kidding...
