Hi all, I haven't been around for a while. However, I recently got back from my second visit to Florida and thought I'd share some photo's with you all...

Cormorant profile - a great example of how sharp the 200-400 is even with a 1.4 on!

Image

Osprey and Belted Kingfisher. They were sitting in an old dead tree at sunset, and I thought it funny that they were on a branch each, both looking for fish and facing away from each other :D

Tri Coloured Heron fishing

And you can read a full write up with about 20 more pictures on my blog, by clicking here.

Enjoy...

Perfect timing on the last one, really like it.

The second one is also very nice, quite like the silhouette of the two birds.

cheers,

Andre

Great images, I really like #3 especially with the reflections off the water on the underside of the wing.

I think #2 is my favourite. The silhouettes plus the gorgeous coloured sky is all very appealing.

Yep. My thoughts too.

But I'm wondering .... could somebody please see if they can find Energy Police? This is right in his domain.
