#1 probably a longer exposure would have been better
#3 maybe crop the bottom 25% to emphasise the sky

I know its not of what everyone owants to see on new years eve oe the fireworks but i think thte detail and impact of the colours are a real winner. Its my nomination for picture of the week so far, and that should be a real compliment with all the other other shots that have been posted.

The sky in 3 is surreal, looks a bit like something out of the movie 'the crow'. I agree with the straightening though

I like the skies and buildings in #3, the camera has caught the exposure nicely without blowing out of underexposing either the sky or the buildings. Does anyone else think it has a surreal feel about it? That was my first reaction
