Nicely done Cameron...

#1 probably a longer exposure would have been better
#3 maybe crop the bottom 25% to emphasise the sky

Thanks, #1 was shot without a tripod so I was already struggling to get that exposure.
It is sad that I now have to way 364 days before I get another shot!

Some amazing shots here. Love number 3. I know its not of what everyone owants to see on new years eve oe the fireworks but i think thte detail and impact of the colours are a real winner. Its my nomination for picture of the week so far, and that should be a real compliment with all the other other shots that have been posted.

Nice work

nice work cameron, my fav's are 2 and 3, i am sucker for that blue firework set, the glebe island bridge with the aussie flag makes a nice addition!

The sky in 3 is surreal, looks a bit like something out of the movie 'the crow'. I agree with the straightening though

Thanks for the compliments!! I am honoured to get a vote for POTW (I'll straighten this soon - when I get home which is tomorrow).

I like the skies and buildings in #3, the camera has caught the exposure nicely without blowing out of underexposing either the sky or the buildings. Does anyone else think it has a surreal feel about it? That was my first reaction

#3 wins it for me!! but i agree about the 25% crop at the bottom. Love the sky and the light you've captured coming from the buildings!! well done!
