New Years Day with friendsCaught up with Wocka, his wife and their gorgeous little girl yesterday...
Here's a few of my faves. Comments welcome. All shot with the 24-70 2.8, SB800 (fill flash). The third image is intentionally warmed up just a little bit, as I preferred it with a tad more warmth. Geoff

Re: New Years Day with friends
that first image redefines the meaning of cute awesome shot! gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
Re: New Years Day with friendsNice shooting Geoff.
The narrow depth of field and sharp eye focus in the first looks great. However - I think it is a bit cool - the white of her eyes appears blue... There is also quite a bit of light drop off at the bottom - is that your lens blocking the flash? 5DmII + some L lenses

Re: New Years Day with friendsThanks for the comments guys.
Mitchell, I do need to warm that first one up a tad, yes. The light drop off is probably due to a little too much vignette..easily fixed..thanks. Geoff
