Re: Light her up!Very nice take on NYE Matt. Your colours are completely different than earlier posts on last evening, but effective nonetheless. I especially like the boats in the foreground. Were you on a boat, and if so, how did you keep the camera still?

Re: Light her up!I would like to take some decent fireworks photos one day. I suppose that means I'll have to travel to where the fireworks are!

Re: Light her up!Some fantastic captures here Matt. I would have thought being so close to the action might hinder ones results but you have managed to get so much detail in these shots that it really compliments the movement going on in each frame.
Looks like you had the oportunity to sit on the water in someones boat. Can only imagine the experience. As usual some benchmark work. Keep the shudder count ticking over. Jase 4869 Guess What! ........I Have A Fever........And The Only Perscription........Is More Cowbell.

The first two seem oddly soft and slightly over exposed to me, but #3 is a cracker (pun intended) and is just a whisker above #4 for me. Peter

Re: Light her up!i really like #4 the angle that these photos were taken is awesome and the forground of the boats really adds something to the photos, mabye its just me but most photos of syd fireworks seem to be very much the same (their are many exceptions) good work!
