Well - I couldn't see anything !! Went out frogging last night, and hiked down to the waterfall lookout at O'Reilly's (Lamington NP) at about 9.30pm by headlamp - never been there before so was wondering what it actually looked like (you can't see much in the bush at night, and there was a fair bit of cloud cover), so set up the camera at 6400iso for 30 seconds - shot blind and balanced the camera on the hand rail (after I saw what the cliff looked like from the other side I think that may have been a bit foolish LOL) - anyway, it turns out that this is the view ;) Not great shots I know - but bear in mind how they were taken ;) :) (Sorry I haven't been online for ages - bloody Opt-ass)

First shot (no idea how close to the cliff we really were)

Shot from the other side - we were actually at the top of the cliff about 80metres from where the waterfall drops...

Rel, I like the first shot. It is a bit dark, but considering how you took it, it doesn't seem all that dark. I can see a lot of noise in the second one and there also appears to be movement (camera shake?) in the background. You'll just have to go back and try this again with a tripod.

i like the second one, maybe the foilage moves in the breeze created by the waterfall.

thanks for the feedback guys - I think I should probably have put this some where else ??? I know they are crappy shots - I was just amazed at what was picked up to be honest - we didn't even know what was there - it was just point, hit the shutter and wait. There would have been quite a bit of movement - there was some pretty good gusts of wind and a camera sitting on a railing isn't too steady.... lol ..... back to frogs for me :)
