I wish I could give you something more, but there is something about that series that is not quite right. I cant put a finger on it, but if I can I'll be sure to tell you.

This is a nice place John. Good looking stone.
Were these shots hand held? The first two look ok but the third looks a bit soft to me.

The waterfall shots where all on a tripod, don't know what happened to the third one? To me it's just the foreground that is soft, is that the same for your eyes?

Nicish shots John, but I think a defined "something" that catches one's eye is lacking. I think if the waterfall had been bigger (eg more water), it would have provided that detail. As it is, it is just a photo of a pond or whatever. Some more rain will no doubt help things along... :)

Cheers.

Nice shots but they look a bit flat to me. I had a play with the levels of one of them in Photoshop and it improved it quite a bit.

Cheers

That is what I noticed. It draws the eye away from what is in focus.

:agree: The actual waterfall looks very dark, these almost appear to be exposed for the sky.

Shane - the falls are on Waterfall Creek Rd, back of Maroon dam (turn off the Boonah - Rathdowny rd at the Maroon Cemetery and head into the hills).

Once into the falls area it is quiet dark at pond level.

That's the waterfall pond, the water enters at the upper right of the picture. It is on the way to Mt Barney.
