Re: "lens baby" first images (Taralga Rodeo)The zone plate is a pin hole unit that gives very soft focus.

yes the wide angle adapter fits... I tried it out at the shop but held off buying it till I see how much I like the basic lens I tried this one as it is also a macro adapter http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/prod2094.htm
Re: "lens baby" first images (Taralga Rodeo)Are images such as #1 & #2 typical for the lens baby or was it used deliberately to create the blur effect?
Canon EOS 50D, 24-70 f2.8L, 100-300 f5.6L, 580EX II
Re: "lens baby" first images (Taralga Rodeo)I haven't really had the lens long enough to say that these are typical
but the lens comes with interchangeable aperture disks (from no disk f2 through to a f22 disk in one stop steps) the wider the aperture the greater the blur effect, these were shot at f2.8 but I have seen image with very little blur compared to these so far I have only shot f2- f4 but will have a bigger play with the lens this weekend and spend more time seeing what it will do rather than trying to capture any usable images as such
