White FlowerWell this wasn't too bad seeing as I have a tripod worst than that advertisement that was posted on here some time back for an aluminium square tubing tripod. I can breath on it and it would move.
Lens used was a Sigma 70-300MM APO Super Macro with a Hoya +2 closeup diopter. Using the SB-800 as a bit of fill light. All in all, not too bad considering the gear used. Really need a decent tripod though. <img src="http://www.morganpost.com/Flower.jpg"> Darryl (aka Kipper)

Not bad at all Kipper - but there is a lot of chromatic aberration around some of the petals, this can be removed if you have the iNova actions.

I love this flower.
I am happy about the fact that affordable gear is producing good quality photos, such as yours. I used to have the sigma 70-300mm super APO II and have managed to take some very crisp and clear shots. Keep it up. Nice work. CD
kipper,
get the decent tripod, your 70-200VR can do for you a nice macro lens with the Canon 500D 77mm on it, you'll be surprised. Birddog114

Hi Birddog114,
can you demonstrate the 70-200VR with the Canon 500D 77mm on Saturday ? That would be cool. CD
CD, On this Saturday, you can play with the C500D on your 70-200VR and you can tell more about it. Birddog114
