Rob,
You perhaps retire your 70-300 ED by now!
It's useless once you got the 70-200VR and 200-400VR, what do you use for the Wide ends? perhaps the 18-70? I saw a missing gap in between your armory!

Super shot Rob.
But it does take a long time to load! Is it a large file, or are we at the whim of the host site?

I think it's pixspot... Not sure what the problem is, but I've noticed that it sometimes takes ages to serve up a picture... Seems to come and go...

Stunner!
You might want to aproach them with a
model realese (offer them the photos in exchange)
Plenty of people would want great shots like that!

Seems better now - must have been the site's server.
Sorry about the implied criticism of your file size, Rob.

i told them i didnt mind putting them on a disk for them as i need them to perform for me so i spose this is payment for that, i'm sure when they get to know my prefered distance and what i want them to do i will get better shots , i had my laptop at the back of my 4wd showing them as soon as they came out of the water and they were rapt in the quality ( i'm still impressed ) ... cheers rob
and cricketfan if there WAS a file size problem i wouldnt know unless nice people like you asked the question so i didnt see it as a criticism

Rob, that is a fantastically clear and well exposed shot! If there's a national or local Wakeboarder's's magazine, you should submit these images (pending
model releases).
More images like these and you'll start to make back the $7k on the lens!

You nailled it beautifully - shows the lens off well, not to mention your skills. What was the shutter speed?

$7-8k on a 200-400VR or $7-8k on a D2X
Atleast coupled with the 70-200VR the x2 crop might come out ok

Both are same price, which one do you want kipper? don't need a house! you have to do all hard works with it and suffering if you can't handle the mortgage, go for the gears and enjoy life my friend.

I hate to admit it, but it's always puzzled me why you had such a strange nick (sirch55).
For some weird reason, while reading this post the penny finally dropped. Boy do I feel stupid.
Sorry guys for going OT - Just thought I'd share. As a (related) aside - everytime I see a Terios I figure there's some marketing guy out there who at least showed some ingenuity.
