Candle-lit soccer returnsLast year with the D300 I gave up night soccer at the local club
Might persevere this year, first game of the season - light's still crappy, but D3 copes NO NR on these in camera or out. Whatcha reckon with a bit of PP still to do - not bad huh Darren

Re: Candle-lit soccer returnsBloody hell, with ISO 8000, it's great! Opens up a lot more opportunities. I have ISO lust. I like the 2nd and the 4th for the action.

Re: Candle-lit soccer returnsDarren,
the D3 certainly isn't letting you down on the ISO stakes. These shots are also very framed, shows the action very well. Only nit is on the first one, it would have been nice to get the whole ball. I'm sure the 400mm f2.8 also helps Well done in trying conditions, André Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution.
