ABMF 2009 - Amy Kendall, Fiona BoyesAustralian Blues Music Festival in Goulburn, 2009.
Here's a couple of people for whom I MC'd. Amy Kendall is originally from Goulburn, but currently live in Tasmania. A delightful young lady, she sang a mixture of blues and folk. Fiona Boyes .... She is quickly becoming a legend in her own time. She is already recognised as a blues master in USofA. Great personality, that she just punches through in her performance. Yep. This one is of a lady playing an electric Maton gee-tar! I don't think I've seen a Maton on stage in maybe 20 or more years! While the room at the Railway Bowlo in Goulburn isn't too bad from a staging and sound perspective, it's less than ideal from an aesthetics PoV. g.
