While in Sydney I picked up a second hand 35 mm F2 Nikor....... the lens appears to be very sharp, judging from the few shots I have taken. One of the quick test shots....... 250@7.1 ISO 1000 D700

Looks very sharp (Although stopped down). Is there much CA? I can't tell on my work monitor.

What would a reasonable price second hand be for a 35 f2? I 've seen a pretty good one for around $320 mark is that reasonable?

Looks like I missed the boat on the cheap 50 1.4 AF-S..

Thats my problem, not being able to physically hold the lens...so it needs to be a bargain of sorts or its risk..

I think I'll go a new 50 1.4 AF-s instead.
