Did a few days around the castle and monolith valley just inland on NSW south coast. I had a tough decision to make as i could only take one DSLR- had to carry tent, food etc. I opted for the 300D Infrared mod and a 10-22mm. At times i really wanted a longer lens but still made do. Got some ok photos and made these false colour options. What do you think? the panorama is a 5 shot handheld- need to figure out the blending with the sky cos there is a fair amount of vignetting at the edge of each individual frame.

I like them all Robert. I would say no 2 is my fav followed by the pano. How did you get this effect?

I'm not sure there are any great shots so was keen to see if there were any ideas from people for improvement...

The camera is modded to be sensitive to llight only in the infrared spectrum. Basically all digital cameras have a clear filter in front of the sensor which limits light with a longer wavelength. This camera has had that clear filter removed and replaced with a filter which blocks out visible light. for a better explanation see http://www.lifepixel.com/
Its basically the same as using an IR filter in front of your lens but allows the camera to shoot at a faster shutter speed.
