Forgotten

I came across this photo from a trip to NZ in 2007. I had forgotten about it (like many others). It was taken with the outstanding Canon 135mm F2 lens, surely one of the great lens in history. The location is Taranaki on the NZ north island, and the subject is my missus...well, maybe a flower too.

I am in two minds about this one... I don't know whether eye contact would have improved the image...

Nice bokeh...

I think the lack of eye contact, in this case, gives it a sense of anonymity which adds to it :D FLower could be a bit bigger though 8)

The 135mm F2 is the sweetest lens. I don't what it is, there's just something about it, the bokeh, the wide open sharpness. Pity it's just a tad too long for portraits with a crop camera.
