For me #1 is a beautiful and engaging portrait. Fantastic and sure to be treasured as the little one gets older!

#2 for me too, although the skin looks to be a tad over softened? Those eyes make the shot.

thanks all. i know y'all are getting bored of these but too bad ! lol

geoff, the PP for that shot is on my flikr page. i havent applied any GB or softening. that softened look on the skin happens whenever i do a high(r) key B+W conversion usng the yellow or orange channel for the mono. if i choose the red or green chanel, there is alot more texture in the skin.

interesting to me is that i hate the colour version but people seem to prefer it. maybe i have an unhealthy fetish for mono. lol

#1 is very nice. As for #2, i would prefer less eyes' sharpening.
Really beautiful face.
