Have been meaning to try this out for a while, and as I have been stood down from work for the past week the oppurtunity was taken to put the idea into practice.

I love the last one - great colours on all of them but the shape of the last one grabs me.

stood down from work for the past week

hopefully not for good!

#1 reminds me of looking a cells in school! But #3 is the standout for me, crazy pattern, psychedelic colours, all the ingredients for a 70's trip

What were you using for the colour back drop? box full of coloured balls?

Returned to work today, but still in a very dodgy situation...fingers are crossed.

Aren't you the clever one :D Exactly right in your assumption, the fluid being glyricine.

Geoff, more like lucky guess
- I have been playing with drops and had thought of drops on a plate but now I'm inspired to have a go at the glass ...thanks for the idea

Geoff great result on the experimentation, as Big Gerry says in the 70s I could see these as posters on walls. Good luck on the job front

I'm in awe of anyone who can photograph (or simply be around) chocolates or smarties and not almost instantly lose them down their own gullet!

What a neat idea, the shots are great and the last inparticular is most eyecatching, just a shame about the watermarks on the glass. I like that the background colours are rounded too, it complements the bubbles and suits the mood. Now all you need is a lava lamp and some Hendrix.......... 8)

All the best on the work front, and good for you on making the most of downtime.
