Abandoned and forgotten

Came across a little clearing whilst driving along the Murray River near Mildura. The hut looked like it had seen much better days, and was infested with doves.

All Taken with d300 + 18-200mm.

I tried to create a sort of timeless look for this set.

Monty these are just superb. Subject, angles and in particular your PP to turn these pics into sepia masterpieces has all worked. Oh! did I say I like them

Lovely images Monty. The treatment, I agree with Chris, is well suited to the images. I particularly like the second image and the mood created there which is enhanced by your composition. Mission accomplished I'd say Monty :)
cheers

While I like the images, I must admit that I'm not a fan of the treatment (sorry ) - maybe it is just me, but the shots seem to be a little too muddy as a result of the treatment ... but that is just my opinion

I'm not sure I like the treatment. I sort of do because it is reminiscent of prints I have from the 70s that I took with a Kodak Instamatic, but then given they were taken with an SLR in the naughties it sort of cheapens them. That could just be me, though.
