I know what you mean!

The Ronny's creek walk is absolutely great, to be able to walk through such variations in vegetation and terrain is incredible. To be able to walk through grasslands, rainforest, rocky mountain trails, tassie bush and see multiple lakes all in the space of a few hours is awesome!

I remember that waterfall, where you are standing is a little wooden platform and walkway :D in regard to PP on the picture, I would give a d-lightning a go and also play with the white balance of the image, this pictures looks quite cool, which is not necessarily a bad thing for waterfall shots.

The waterfall definitely had more water in it then when I was there...

Hey Whitey,

I downloaded ur picture the other week with the intention of having a crack at it, I hope you dont mind! (If so just let me know and I will remove)

I only added a couple of subtle changes, mainly to bring out the dark areas, this, I think improves the image.....

What a neat shot! I like that the exposure's long enough to give sensation of the water rushing, without being open too long and letting it become too smooth. You can still see the direction and movement, it looks great. I like the shadows lightened in the adjusted shot as I think in the first the contrast is too stark. A shame about the dead branch sticking out into the middle of your shot there from the right, but I think it's really nicely composed.

Thanks biggerry, definately lighetened it up and brought out the colour in the moss. Was this a bit of w/b and the d-lighting. I havent had a chance to try out the suggestions from your first post.

correct, d-lighting on high quality, only about 25% from memory then some warmth/coolness adjust + contrast.
