JSTCRZN nighttime

still playing around with light painting.

side on pictures are looking ok, but front on ones need work. it is like the light wont pick up on the bonnet and roof. i will try a few more things though. after clipsal one night my mate who i went with wanted some shots of his car so we met back up at 9pm.

i just got a new LED light aswell, that i havnt used yet, but it will mean i wont have to alter the whitebalance to take out the blue.

Hey mate,

I saw the link for the lighting setup you are using and was wondering how big the stands are?

Main reason im asking is i am noticing in light on the top of the car making it hard to see on my monitor (I have only calibrated it by the software provided so may be off).

Perhaps finding a way to lift the light a bit higher so we can see the top of the car not just the bottom half?

But hey im not really into that type of car either :S

the light is not stationary on a stand, it is handheld and is moved around for the length of the exposure.

here is the same video i posted in my other thread, this should explain it more
