Thanks for taking the time to post some images Neo. Festival photography is hard work but a great opportunity with so many things to see and shoot.

I had a look at your shots

1 - Well lit, framed and exposed (no harsh shaddows) but i think it lacks a clear focal point and would be enhanced with something interesting happening on the bank or on the river itself (like some rowers, etc)

2. Its nice to see that Ferris Wheel has coem back to Birra Rung Mar. Good colour in this one. Could be intersting to come back and try it again with a blue sky day and a polarising filter.

3. Cute kid in the pink, some interesting action going on with the pointing but I would be careful with the saturation here. It looks just a little OTT to me. Also another thing I though about was that you could have tried to make it more intresting by dropping the angle of view so you were less at eye level.

Cheers
Steve

Hey Steve, thanks for your comments and suggestions. Gives me a bit to think about, very helpful :)

I agree with the lack of subject in the first shot, I had a few with some boats and such, but I found this one had the nicest exposure and colours so I decided to show this one. But thanks for the reminder about finding interesting subjects.

Too much saturation on #3, yeah you're probably right. I was playing around a bit on the post-processing for that one, may have overdone it.

I like number 1, notwithstanding the lack of a focal point.

Number 2 doesn't do much for me.

Number 3 is great, although like Steve has said, a bit over saturated. But I love the pointing!
I have taken the liberty of doing a very quick edit, Saturation -20 and a crop.

Great stuff, keep up the good work.

Thanks!

Yeah I see how toning down helped it, although the cropping is a bit too tight for my preference.... I might've preferred to leave a little more room on the little girl's side.
